Harmonic drive bearing
1. Product description and structure
Harmonic reducer comprise harmonic producer,flex spline, steel wheel,in addition it is also include rigid bearing (cross roller bearing) and flexible bearing(thin-walled deep groove bearing).
Harmonic reducer bearing include rigid bearing and flexible bearing,and the rigid bearing have four types CSG(CSF),CSD,SHG(SHF),SHD.and they are named by reducer name.The flexible bearing are named HYR.
1.1 Rigid bearing for harmonic drive
Rigid bearing for harmonic drive is cross roller structure.According to its application area there are four types(CSF/CSG Series and SHF/SHG Series ).Rolling body are cylindrical rollers which arranged orthogonality,this structure can make one bearing can bear the load from every direction e.g. radial,axial and tilting torque etc. Bearing with high rigidity,rotation accurancy and load carrying capacity. This series bearing has compact appearance,with mounting hole,customer can mount directly,suitable for every kinds of harmonic drives.
The rigidity,reliability and rotating accuracy are very important for the rigid bearing,so the bearing will be adjusted the preloading before leave factory to ensure the rigidity of the bearing.
CSG(CSF) Type(Separable outer ring,integrated inner ring)
The structure of CSG(CSF) Type(Separable outer ring,integrated inner ring)
Which is no need of flange and bearing seat.suitable for every kind of CSF(CSG) series harmonic drives.
SHG(SHF) Type(Integrated inner and outer ring)
Outer ring and inner ring are all integraty structure,mounting will have no affect on performance ,it can abtain stable running accurancy and torque.suitable for every kinds of SHF(SHG) series harmonic drives.
CSD Type(Integrated inner and outer ring)
Outer ring and inner ring are all integraty structure,outer diameter is same as CSG type, the rigidity is higher than CSG type bearing,this type bearing is mainly applied to CSD series of output part of speed reducer.
SHD Type(Integrated inner and outer ring)
Outer ring and inner ring are all integraty structure,the gear of inner ring can mesh the the flexible gear.The height is lower then SHG bearings, which can save the mounting space of the reducer.This type bearings are mainly applied in output part of reducer.
1.2 Flexible bearing for harmonic drive
The flexible bearing are thin-walled deep groove bearing, which mainly bear the alternating stress.The wall thickness is thin,and it’s easy to deformation when mesh to cam, so the inner/outer ring and rolling body are use the High-carbon chromium bearing steel,and nylon integral cage. The maximum radial deformation is very improtance for flexible bearing.

Bearing lubrication
The rigid bearing for harmonic drive have been filled with high quality compound lithium grease before leave the factory, in normal operation condition, no need to plus grease during using.The fraction torque will be temporarily increase after plus the grease, and the fraction torque will be stable when the grease homogeneously attached to the roller race and rollers.
The grease of harmonic drive bearing we used are FAG Arcanol Multitop, this grease have long working life, well running perfomence and high reliability , which are widely used in all kind rotate speed and temperature condition with high load, and low noise.

Installation Note
1. Clean the dirt and inclusion of the bearing seat and shaft which match up with bearing before assembly, and ensure there is no burr and sharp edge.(ensure the fit tolerance of the inner and outer ring,shaft journal and inner bearing conform to requirments )
2. When tightening the screw, there are 3~4 steps from partrial locking to totally locking of fixed bolt,accroding to the methed of decussation to tighten repeatly.
3. The preload have been adjusted by our prefessional assembly worker before leave the factory, and the grease aslo have been filled.Please don’t remove the bearing or clean the bearing before installation. If receiveing the abnomal operation of the bearing after installation,please contact with us asap.
4. The operation temperature of the bearing are -20°C~~+80°C,If the bearing work condition exceed this range,please contact with us asap
5. The material of the components which match to bearings can choose alluminium alloy or cast iron.
6. If the bearing dimension which you used can not find in our enclosed table or the dimension is different, please contact with us.
