Sprocket installation requirements
1 Correctly select the drive sprocket model according to the specifications.
2 Check if the position of the transmission sprocket (transmission output countershaft, hub, etc.) is in good condition. Otherwise, the relevant parts must be repaired or replaced.
3 Install the main and driven sprocket in the right way and tighten the fasteners to the required torque.
4 After installing the transmission chain and adjusting the tightness, check whether the chain and the sprocket fit smoothly and coplanarly, and do not interfere with the chain cover.
Precautions:
1 Driven sprocket should have anti-loose measures.
2 After loading the driven sprocket, use the adjuster and the rear cradle (also called the rear wheel fork) to adjust the rear axle so that the rear wheel can be prevented from being deflected, and the early stage of the sprocket and the chain can be avoided. Wear.
3 Sprockets and chains are best replaced at the same time. If only one of them is replaced, wear on both sides will be exacerbated.
4 As the speed of the drive sprocket is high and the number of teeth is small, under the same conditions, it wears faster than the driven wheel, which is normal.
5 Periodically clean and lubricate the drive chain and drive sprocket to increase its service life.
