Structure and installation of steel wire raceway bearings
Steel raceway rolling bearing is the most widely used and most mature type of support structure in modern circular knitting machines. It is characterized by its small cross-sectional area. There are metric and imperial cross-sections. Generally speaking, the steel ball and the steel ball are separated by nylon isolation tape. When the machine is running, the steel ball rolls on the fixed circular track along the four steel wires at the four corners. The small cross-section allows this support structure to be designed very delicately in the machine. The biggest advantage of the steel raceway bearing is that it is suitable for machines with large diameter rotation and low energy consumption, which just meets the transmission requirements of the circular knitting machine.
The most typical structure of a steel raceway bearing is a three-piece enclosing structure. It is generally composed of a fixed large table main body, a movable needle cylinder seat gear, and a compression ring three entities enclosing the square section steel raceway bearing in the middle. If the steel ball in the square section is taken as the center of the structure, then according to the different placement positions of the compression ring relative to the center of the steel ball and the needle cylinder, this support structure can be divided into upper inner pressure ring type; upper outer pressure ring Ring type; lower inner pressure ring type; lower outer pressure ring type.
However, in terms of the convenience of adjusting and replacing the steel raceway bearing, it is the best example of all three solid-enclosed steel raceway bearing structures. This structure is not only very convenient to adjust the gap of the steel wire raceway bearing but only needs to loosen the screw and change the thickness of the gasket. Moreover, when the steel raceway bearing needs to be replaced, the compression ring can be easily removed without removing any other parts, and the new steel raceway bearing can be quickly reinstalled.
The structure and use of steel raceway bearings are the same as ordinary slewing bearings, and they have the advantages that ordinary slewing bearings can’t match, such as lightweight, simple structure, small installation space, convenient maintenance and replacement, and low cost. At the same time, it has slewing bearings. Basic functions can bear axial and radial loads, and can also bear a certain overturning moment. Therefore, steel wire raceway bearings can completely replace ordinary light slewing bearings under certain use occasions and achieve the use effect that ordinary slewing bearings cannot achieve.
