Butt Weld Flange Introducton
Butt Weld Flange: Neck Flange Welds are commonly referred to as "high hub" flanges. Its purpose is to transfer the pressure of the pipe, thus reducing the stress concentration in the flange base. Cervical flange welding is the best design for butt welds that provide flanges due to its inherent structural value. However, the price is relatively high, because the production process of the product is complicated.
Threaded (Threaded) Flange: This threaded flange is threaded. However, the center of the product has a thread size corresponding to the tube. The main advantage is that it can be welded without assembly.
Sliding Flanges: Sliding Flanges have a lower hub because the pipe enters before single-flange welding. It is welded inside and outside to provide sufficient strength to prevent leakage. Sliding flange, are boring slightly larger diameter pipe matching. They are better than the neck flange welding, due to the initial cost is low, many users, but the final installation costs probably will not be low, because the increase of weld flange less.
Lap flange: The Lap flange is exactly the same slip flange unless it is a radius between the hole and flange race. It is necessary for the radius to have a flange to accommodate the lap stub end. In general, overlapping flanges and lapped stubs will mate the system together at the end of the month.
The socket solder flange is a similar sliding flange unless it has a hole and counter-hole size. Counter hole and pipe matching, the pipe inserted into the flange similar to the sliding flange. The diameter of the smaller holes is the same as the ID of the same pipe match. The limit is built-in holes, as a dedicated shoulder grommets stay at the bottom. This eliminates any flow restriction in the socket solder flange.
