Sprocket maintenance
1, the tightness of the sprocket should be appropriate, too tight will increase power consumption, the bearing is easy to wear; too loose the sprocket is easy to beat and dislodge. The degree of tightness of the sprocket is: lifting or pressing from the middle of the sprocket, about 2%-3% of the center distance of the two sprocket.
2, the sprocket mounted on the shaft should not swing and skew. In the same transmission assembly, the end faces of the two sprocket wheels should lie in the same plane. When the sprocket center distance is less than 0.5 meters, it can deviate by 1 mm; when the sprocket center distance is more than 0.5 meters, it can deviate by 2 mm. However, it is not possible to have friction sprocket side phenomenon, if the two-wheel deflection is too large, it is easy to generate de-chaining and accelerated wear. In the replacement of sprocket must pay attention to check and adjust the offset.
3. After the sprocket wear is severe, new sprockets and new sprockets should be replaced at the same time to ensure good meshing. It is not possible to replace the new sprockets or new sprockets separately. Otherwise it will cause bad meshing and accelerate the wear of the new sprocket or the new sprocket. After the sprocket tooth surface is worn to a certain degree, the sprocket tooth surface should be turned over for use (referring to the sprocket used for the adjustable surface) in order to extend the service life.
4. If the new sprockets are too long or they are stretched after use, they are difficult to adjust. The chain links can be removed if necessary, but they must be even. The chain link should pass through the back of the sprocket and the locking plate should be inserted outside. The opening of the locking plate should be in the opposite direction of rotation.
5. The sprocket should be filled with lubricating oil in time. Lubricants must enter the clearance between the roller and the inner sleeve to improve working conditions and reduce wear.
6, the old sprocket can not be mixed with some of the new sprocket, otherwise it is easy to produce impact in the drive, breaking the sprocket.
7. When the machine is stored for a long period of time, the sprockets should be removed and cleaned with kerosene or diesel oil, and then painted with oil or butter in a dry place.
