(1) The radial drilling machine has many moving parts. In order to simplify the transmission, multiple electric motors are used to drive. For example, the Z3040 radial drilling machine employs four electric motor drives. They are a spindle motor, a rocker arm lift motor, a hydraulic pump motor, and a cooling pump motor. These electric motors all use a direct start method.
(2) In order to adapt to various forms of machining requirements, the rotation and feed motion of the main shaft of the radial drilling machine have a large range of speed adjustment. Under normal circumstances, it is mostly achieved by a mechanical transmission mechanism. The spindle speed change mechanism and the feed speed change mechanism are all installed in the headstock.
(3) The main movement and feed movement of the radial drilling machine are the movements of the main shaft. For this purpose, there is a main shaft motor that drives the two main movements. The spindle transmission mechanism and the feed transmission mechanism realize the rotation and feed of the main shaft respectively.
(4) When machining the thread, it is required that the spindle can rotate forward and backward. The main shaft of the radial drilling machine is generally implemented mechanically. Therefore, the spindle motor only needs to rotate in one direction.
(5) Rocker lifting motor is required to rotate in forward and reverse directions.
(6) The clamping and loosening of the inner and outer spindles, and the clamping and loosening of the spindles and rocker arms can be achieved by mechanical control, electrical-mechanical devices, electrical-hydraulic or electrical-hydraulic-mechanical control methods. If a hydraulic device is used, a hydraulic pump motor is provided and the hydraulic pump is dragged to provide pressure oil. The hydraulic pump motor is required to rotate in a forward and reverse direction, and a jog control is used as required.
(7) The movement of the rocker arm is performed in strict accordance with the procedures for loosening, moving, and clamping the rocker arm. Therefore, the rocker arm clamping and rocker arm lift are automatically controlled.
(8) Cooling pump The motor drives the cooling pump to provide coolant, requiring only one-way rotation.
(9) Chain and protection links, as well as safety lighting and signal indication circuits.
