Machinery processing steps

Large module straight gear rack milling uses gantry milling machines and floor-type boring and milling machines as core equipment. First, the gantry milling machine is used to level the reference surface of the rack blank. Then, a layered cutting method is used for rough milling of the tooth profile, leaving a 0.3-0.5mm finishing allowance to reduce the risk of tool impact and deformation. Subsequently, a floor-type boring and milling machine is used with dedicated milling cutters to finish mill the tooth profile, relying on the machine tool's high-precision positioning system to strictly control the tooth pitch and thickness tolerances. Cutting fluid is used throughout the machining process for cooling and chip removal. After finish milling, the tooth surfaces are deburred to complete the machining of a large module straight rack that meets the transmission accuracy requirements.
