When the extrusion rod is operated at a high temperature, the end of the extrusion rod may be plastically deformed and be upset. Therefore, the diameter of the end of the solid extrusion rod should be made smaller, and the inner diameter of the end of the hollow extrusion rod should be larger, so as not to be replaced when the large perforation needle is replaced after deformation. In order to avoid stress concentration, the transition portion of the root of the squeeze rod should be tapered and have a large rounded corner with a radius of R ≥ 100 mm. If the arc is too small or the root is not well matched with the diameter of the shaft, the squeeze rod will break.
