Classification of machining
Let's discuss about mechanical processing categorization. Yogie is a machinery manufacturing company that offers design, development, manufacture, and local and international trade services. Mechanical processing benchmarks are classified into two types: design benchmarks and process benchmarks:
Design datum: The datum used to determine the position of other points, lines and surfaces on the part drawing is called the design datum.
Process datum: The datum used by the part during machining and assembly. Process benchmarks are divided into assembly benchmarks, measurement benchmarks and positioning benchmarks according to different uses.
A. Assembly datum: The datum used to determine the position of the part in the component or product during assembly is called the assembly datum.
B. Measurement datum: The datum used to check the size and position of the machined surface is called the measurement datum.
C. Positioning datum: The datum used for workpiece positioning during processing is called the positioning datum. As the surface of the positioning reference, only the unprocessed blank surface can be selected in the process. This positioning surface is called the rough reference. In each subsequent process, the machined surface can be used as the positioning reference, and this positioning surface is called the precision reference.
Yogie's products are widely used in: machine tools, shipbuilding, medical, power generation, textile, printing, metallurgy, mining, gear transmission, construction machinery, petrochemical, lifting equipment, etc.
