Causes of wear of the dryer rollers

The reason for the layout design is not reasonable; it is affected by high temperature air for a long time; the operator's method is not timely and maintenance is not timely;

1. There are certain defects in the structural design. Due to the narrow contact area between the rear wheel and the wheel belt and the tilt angle of the cylinder body, the rear wheel will be under great pressure. After a long use, the support wheel will be deformed. Should be in the design of the corresponding transformation.

2. Under the action of high-temperature air flow, the wheel belt and the backing plate of the cylinder body will be seriously worn, and the wheel belt will become an oval shape, which will cause the pressure of the support roller to increase and accelerate the wear of the support roller.

3, if the drum in the process of work in the dryer, the front and rear wheels should be adjusted in time, otherwise it will cause the rear roller pressure increases, causing serious wear and tear.



Dryer roller care precautions

1. Reasonable selection of lubricating oil for supporting roller: Good lubrication is the guarantee for safe operation during the operation of the roller, and it is the key to prolong the service life of the roller bearing pad. Due to the high load, continuous operation, and high temperature environment, the carrier wheel also has a certain degree of turbulence in the axial direction of the carrier shaft. Therefore, based on this feature, we should choose to have anti-wear, anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion, anti-emulsification, high temperature resistance and other properties, and at the same time require that the supporting roller oil has a certain high viscosity coefficient, which can make the surface of the running parts form a good oil film. . Nowadays, there are ready-made oils for use on the market, which can be reasonably selected according to the specific conditions of each unit.

2. It is forbidden to spray cold water directly or continuously onto the surface of the roller: Because the roller heat is the most common problem during the operation of the roller. The heating of the supporting roller can easily cause the heating of the lubricating oil. The viscosity coefficient of the lubricating oil is reduced, which affects the formation of a good oil film. The heating of the supporting roller is also a matter of great concern. Therefore, it must be avoided that during the operation of the equipment, cold water is directly sprayed or continuously showered onto the surface of the supporting roller, so that the surface of the high-temperature supporting roller is rapidly cooled and cracks appear, and pieces are dropped off. In the supporting wheel pool, water should not be accumulated as much as possible so as to avoid the occurrence of stress cracks on the high-temperature supporting wheel with defects.

Third, keep the roller surface clean: equipment in operation, will produce a lot of dust can easily contaminate the roller surface, so be sure to regularly clean the roller surface to ensure the roller surface is clean and avoid any debris attached to the care The surface of the wheel is such that the local area of the supporting wheel and the belt surface is subjected to high-pressure stress when the supporting wheel comes into contact with the wheel belt, thereby causing surface crack damage to the wheel and the belt. Especially before the equipment is commissioned, the rust-proof material applied on the surface of the roller and the belt must be cleaned.

4. Reasonably control the stroke of the hydraulic gear: During the operation of the equipment, it is necessary to control the stroke of the hydraulic gear as reasonably as possible so that the entire surface of the wheel is in a circular working state as much as possible. In this way, it is possible to avoid uneven wear on the surface of the roller, rapid wear in the middle, slow wear at both ends, and avoidance of vibration during operation of the equipment.

5. Check the quality of the support wheel regularly: Perform ultrasonic inspection on the support wheel every two to three years to check the internal quality. The purpose is to check whether there are cracks on the surface and inside of the wheel, and if found, prepare in advance to prevent accidents.
