Regular and thorough maintenance of the roller can extend its service life and allow the mill to operate effectively. Therefore, we need to have a clear understanding of how long it takes for the mill roll to change:
1. Under normal circumstances, the life cycle of the roller is 500 hours, but if the material hardness is too large, the time will be shortened.
2. The roller is rotated by the rotation speed to achieve the grinding effect, and the friction is large. Therefore, when the roller thickness is about 10 mm after it rains, it cannot work normally, and it needs to be replaced at this time.
Speaking of the maintenance of the roller, Great Wall Machinery reminds everyone that there are several points to pay special attention to when maintaining:
● Make sure that the mill runs smoothly (such as checking the height of the retainer, etc.).
● The retainer ring is kept at an appropriate height and uniform throughout the entire circumference.
● Give the roller proper pressure through the hydraulic system.
● Check the effectiveness of the air seal according to the operating instructions of the gas seal pipe.
● When removing the entire roll, the roll must be turned inside out with the rocker arm. At this point, the expansion sleeve should be released.
● When assembling, pay attention to the correct position of the opening of the conical expansion sleeve where the roller shaft and the upper rocker arm are connected. The opening of the conical expansion sleeve is blocked with a rope-like material, so that the gas can not be sealed off, and dust cannot enter.
● When inspecting the tapered roller bearing, the cover on the blind can be opened. When replacing the cover, replace the new O-ring seal.
● If the tapered roller bearing can be inspected only when the cap is removed, the roller must be used to turn the roller to a vertical position. When reinstalling the cap, replace the new O-ring seal.
