1. Sealing: The large ring gear of the rotary kiln is a semi-open gear transmission system with only a simple protective cover, and the working environment is poor. These floating objects and small particles can easily enter the working surface of the ring gear and cause abrasive wear.
2. In terms of feeding and discharging: When the connecting bolts of the discharge end of the ball mill are loose, the leaked slurry and finished materials will enter the meshing area with the rotation of the ball mill, causing abrasive wear on the ring gear and accelerating the wear of the tooth surface.
3. Tooth side clearance: When the tooth side clearance is greater than the standard installation position, it will also cause the ring gear to vibrate. When the first pair of teeth are about to be separated, the latter pair of teeth have not entered the correct meshing position, so the first pair of teeth The tooth tip of the driving wheel slides over the tooth profile of the driven wheel, and the driven wheel decelerates; when the rear pair of ring gears enters the mesh, the driven wheel suddenly accelerates, causing an impact, causing ring gear vibration and tooth surface wear; The increase of the gap can also cause the tooth surface to fail to go up, forming elastic fluid lubrication, and can also accelerate the wear of the rotary kiln ring gear;
4. Installation aspect: the coincidence degree, top clearance, and backlash, modulus of the meshing gear have an important influence on the working performance of the large ring gear of the ball mill.
