Main features and classification of harmonic reducer bearings

Nov 25, 2019

Harmonic transmission is a very special power transmission mode. It has the incomparable superiority of the general transmission mode. It has many advantages such as large transmission ratio, high precision, large carrying capacity, high transmission rate, small size and light weight. Widely used in space technology, electronics industry, military industry, robotics, packaging machinery, printing machinery, CNC machine tools, medical equipment and other fields, has a very wide application space. We call it a harmonic reducer or a harmonic reducer, and the output bearing for the harmonic reducer is a cross-roller bearing, which we call a harmonic reducer bearing.

The harmonic reducer is mainly composed of three large parts, namely the rigid wheel, the flexible wheel and the wave generator, but there are other parts, that is, the support transmission bearing. The bearing type required for the whole harmonic reducer component is deep groove ball. Bearings, thin-walled flexible bearings and non-standard crossed roller bearings, the specific structure is shown in the following figure:
After decades of development both inside and outside, the development of harmonic reducers is also changing with each passing day. Harmonic drive technology is becoming more and more mature. Cross-roller bearings (hereinafter collectively referred to as harmonic reducer bearings), which are the main components of harmonic transmission, have been in recent years. It has also developed rapidly. Cross-roller bearings for harmonic transmission are non-standard structures. They are very different in shape from ordinary cross-roller bearings. There are many mounting holes in the inner and outer rings, especially the inner ring, from the outside to the inside. There are three layers of threaded holes that are not sized and numbered, which is the difference in appearance from basic cross-roller bearings. The material is made of GCr15 bearing steel, but the outer ring heat treatment adopts the integral quenching process, while the inner ring adopts the raceway surface quenching process, which is the difference compared with the standard type cross roller bearing heat treatment process.

Crossed roller bearings for harmonic reducers have the following main points:
*High load carrying capacity design
*High rigidity
*Dimensions and rotation accuracy are higher than the standard
* At the same time bear the load in any direction
* Rotating smoothness is good
* Small size space is easy to compact and compact design
* Easy to install and adjust
* A variety of bearing types and sizes for a good choice

*Can provide customized design
For the different types of structures above and harmonic reducers, harmonic reducer bearings are also divided into different types of structures, specifically:
CSF Series Harmonic Reducer Crossed Roller Bearing (Standard Type)
CSG series harmonic reducer cross roller bearing (high rigidity type)
CSD series harmonic reducer cross roller bearing (thin section type)
SHF Series Harmonic Reducer Crossed Roller Bearing (Standard Type)
SHG series harmonic reducer cross roller bearing (high rigidity type)

SHD series harmonic reducer cross roller bearing (thin section type)
