The failure of the oil seal of the rotary kiln supporting roller and the main reason for the oil leakage is that the supporting roller has too much water, so that the water flows on the journal of the supporting roller, and the oil seal seal spring is corroded. After the tension spring is broken due to the rust, the oil seal and the journal fit. Not tight. In order to avoid the above situation, the height of the water surface of the supporting wheel sink should be properly reduced, so that the supporting wheel should not carry too much water, and the side of the supporting wheel should be cleaned to prevent water hanging on the side of the supporting wheel.



2 Care instructions for replacing the oil seal



1) After the journal of the support wheel is corroded by water, it has a certain degree of corrosion. When replacing the oil seal, the journal needs to be polished first.



2) Because the flow direction of the lubricating oil on the support roller journal is the rotation direction of the support roller, care should be taken not to mistake the direction of the oil seal cut, as shown in Fig. 1. If you make a mistake, the oil will flow out along the seal cut.



3) Since the internal diameter of the oil seal is slightly larger than the journal of the support roller, a part of the material needs to be removed when the oil seal is used for cutting. Higher material requirements. If the material is less, the oil seal is not tightly attached to the journal. If the material is removed more, the slit at the incision will be larger, which will cause oil leakage.



4) When the oil seal is installed, the tension spring should be tightened so that the oil seal is tight against the journal.
