Select the temperature sensor to consider the factors
Temperature sensors are sensors used to measure temperature changes in the field of industrial automation has an important application. Due to the large number of temperature sensors, it is more desirable to select a temperature sensor than to select other types of sensors. Here we take a look at the choice of temperature sensor need to consider the factors:
First, the structure of the sensor must be selected so that the temperature of the measured fluid or the surface to be measured is reached within the specified measurement time of the sensing element. The output of the temperature sensor is only the temperature of the sensing element. In fact, it is often difficult to ensure that the temperature of the sensor is the temperature of the object being measured.
In most cases, the choice of temperature sensors need to consider the following aspects:
(1) whether the temperature of the measured object to be recorded, alarm and automatic control, whether the need for long-range measurement and transmission.
(2) the size of the temperature range and accuracy requirements.
(3) the size of the temperature measurement element is appropriate.
(4) in the measured object temperature changes over time, the delay of the temperature measurement element can meet the temperature requirements.
(5) the environmental conditions of the measured object on the temperature measurement element is damaged.
(6) price, such as security, the use of convenience.
The choice of temperature sensor is mainly based on the measurement range. When the measurement range is expected within the total range, the platinum resistance sensor can be used. A narrow range usually requires that the sensor must have a relatively high basic resistance in order to obtain a sufficiently large resistance change.
