What is this?
Local Tulsa company is looking for a Service Engineer. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing CNC VMC’s, HMC’s and turning Centers.
What does my day look like?
Troubleshoot and repair of CNC metal cutting machinery and auxiliary equipment
Electrical troubleshooting based on ladder logic
Perform preventative maintenance to a detailed calendar schedule
Mechanical knowledge of moving components
Hydraulic/pneumatic components
Good computer skills
Organization of tooling and components
What does the perfect candidate look like?
Must have 2-3 years of experience in the field of CNC machining or industrial equipment maintenance.
Knowledge of mechanical / electrical repair practices
Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Knowledge of machine design and operation
Knowledge of and experience with electronic test equipment, electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to read parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides
Familiarity with operating and setting up CNC equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office 2003 or later - Communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
