Thermocouple Temperature Transmitter Composition and Power Supply Wiring

A thermocouple temperature transmitter is an instrument that converts a temperature variable into a transferable standardized output signal. Mainly used for industrial process temperature measurement and control.

Transmitters with sensors are usually composed of two parts: sensors and signal converters. The sensor is mainly thermocouple or thermal resistance; signal converter is mainly composed of measurement unit, signal processing and conversion unit (due to industrial thermal resistance and thermocouple indexing table is standardized, so the signal converter as a separate product is also known as Transmitter), some transmitters have added display units, and some also have fieldbus functions. Thermocouple Temperature Transmitter Principle The transmitter has a given continuous function relationship between the output signal and the temperature difference if it consists of two sensors for measuring the temperature difference. So called temperature transmitter.

There is a given continuous function relationship (usually a linear function) between the transmitter output signal and the temperature variable. The output signal of the early production transmitter has a linear function relationship with the resistance value (or voltage value) of the temperature sensor The

Standardized output signal is mainly 0mA ~ 10mA and 4mA ~ 20mA (or 1V ~ 5V) of the DC signal. Do not exclude other standardized output signals with special requirements.

Thermocouple temperature transmitter according to the power supply wiring can be divided into two-wire and four-wire system. The transmitter has a series of electric power unit (DDZ-Ⅱ type, DDZ-Ⅲ type and DDZ-S type) and miniaturized modular type, multi-function intelligent type. The former are not equipped with sensors, the latter two types of transmitters can be easily connected with the thermocouple or thermal resistance sensor with a transmitter.
