Preparation before assembly

 

Parts cleaning and inspection:

 

Use kerosene or special cleaning agent to remove oil, burrs and machining debris from the surface of gears and shafts to ensure smooth mating surfaces.Visually inspect the gear tooth surface and shaft neck for scratches, cracks or deformation, focusing on the mating parts of the hub hole and shaft head.

 

Dimension and tolerance inspection:

 

Use micrometer and inner diameter gauge to measure the actual size of the gear hole diameter and shaft diameter, and confirm that the mating tolerance (such as interference, clearance) meets the design requirements.

Inspect the straightness of the shaft and the verticality of the gear end face to the hole. The error must be controlled within 0.01~0.05mm.

 

2. Steps of Assembly

 

Precision positioning and fixing:

 

Use tools such as positioning pins and guide sleeves to ensure the coaxiality of the gear and shaft, and use a dial indicator to monitor the assembly deviation in real time.When connecting with a key, it is necessary to ensure that the two sides of the key and the keyway fit tightly, and a gap of 0.1~0.2mm is left between the top surface and the hub groove.

 

Bearing and seal installation:

A special press sleeve should be used for bearing installation to avoid direct knocking on the rolling element; the bearing bushing should be scraped to form a uniform oil film gap.Install oil seals, O-rings and other seals to ensure that the sealing lip fits tightly with the shaft surface to prevent lubricating oil leakage.

 

3. Post-assembly inspection

Coaxiality and verticality re-inspection: Use a laser alignment instrument or dial indicator to detect the coaxiality of the gear and the shaft, with an error of no more than 0.03mm; the end face verticality error shall not exceed 0.02mm.
