Products Description

The ball mill drum is cut from steel plates according to the customer's desired diameter and length, then rolled into a cylinder using a large plate rolling machine. The joints are then welded and heat treated for stress relief. Finally, alignment is inspected and ultrasonically tested to ensure the absence of cracks. After processing, the barrel surface is derusted and painted. Large ball mill barrels are constructed from Q235 low-alloy, high-strength steel, a material that welds easily and offers excellent value for money.The process of ball mill end cover is casting, and the material is ZG230-450, ZG270-500. In addition, heat treatment, turning and drilling are also required.

During the initial assembly phase, the cylinder's machining dimensions must be verified, along with the flatness of the flange surfaces between the end cap and the cylinder, and the coaxiality of the cap bearing hole with the cylinder axis. Next, after hoisting, sealing material is placed in the flange sealing grooves. High-strength bolts are inserted, nuts are installed, and tightened until the flange surfaces are in contact. Finally, coaxiality verification and a seal test are performed.
