Recently, the workshop's heavy-duty CNC moving colum gantry milling machine was continuously machining the column of a 120-ton forging press, showcasing the equipment's advantages of ultra-large load-bearing capacity and ultra-long machining stroke.
The machine tool's worktable has a rated load capacity of 150 tons, a longitudinal stroke of 15 meters, and a transverse stroke of 5.5 meters. The giant column can be clamped and fixed as a whole in one operation, eliminating the need for segmented machining. The workpiece weighs 120 tons and is a core load-bearing component of heavy-duty forging equipment. Its large size and ample cutting allowance make it difficult for ordinary machining equipment to support the entire workpiece.
The machine tool's thickened bed and reinforced crossbeam ensure stable rigidity, allowing for continuous rough milling and high-precision finish milling processes with minimal vibration. All dimensions are stable and controllable in real time. Leveraging its large stroke and high load-bearing capacity hardware configuration, the equipment can complete the machining of various 100-ton-class casting and forging parts in a one-stop process, continuously providing strong support for the domestic precision manufacturing of heavy-duty hydraulic and forging equipment.
