Recently, the common large segmented ring gears have once again caught our eyes. The processing of segmented ring gears includes milling, drilling, turning and other processes. Currently in our workshop, the segmented ring gear of this North American customer is being milled. Our customers are increasingly using segmented ring gears with milled teeth in heavy industrial applications to improve performance and durability. Compared with traditional single-piece gears, the segmented design is easier to transport, install and maintain. Advanced milling technology ensures higher precision and shorter manufacturing time, providing excellent meshing and alignment. These improvements enable better load distribution and longer service life, which is critical for industries such as mining, cement and power generation.
