The briquetting machine roll shell is a cylindrical member with a ball socket dug on the outer layer of the briquetting machine roll core, according to different assembly methods it can be divided into one-piece type and separate type. The roller shell determines the shape of the press molding.

The material of the roller shell is generally selected according to the actual situation of the specific material. Common briquetting machines generally use 9Cr2Mo material for roller shell, which has the strongest wear resistance and will greatly improve the service life of the briquetting machine equipment. The size of the goose egg-shaped ball socket of the roller shell is generally 10mm-7mm. In actual production, it still needs to be customized as per requirements of customers. The output of the ball pressing machine is also determined according to the size of the ball socket.
