1. Bearing inner diameter


Before measurement, the bearing shall be installed and the bearing cover bolts shall be tightened according to the specified torque. The bearing cap shall be measured with the inside diameter gauge and the outside diameter micrometer colonel after the reference size. The thinning area shall be avoided during measurement.

The difference between the inner diameter of the bearing and the outer diameter of the corresponding journal is the fit clearance.

2. Bearing thickness

The fixed measuring head of the outside micrometer is transformed from a plane into a sphere, which can be used to measure the bearing thickness.

Generally, the bearing thickness should be controlled within the range of 0.005~0.010 mm, otherwise the bearing inner diameter will be out of tolerance.

Bearing near the opening has a slight thinning, should pay attention to the measurement.

3, the main bearing bore coaxiality

The bearing bore coaxiality error is mainly caused by the bearing bore coaxiality error, and the bearing bore coaxiality error is caused by the deformation of cylinder block.

When the radial runout of the spindle neck within the specified tolerance, check the spindle neck and bearing eat mark, if the position of the main bearing eat mark is obviously inconsistent, that coaxiality error difference is large, can be used to scrape, boring bearing or replace cylinder block and other ways to solve, otherwise it is difficult to ensure the normal work of the engine.

4, bearing and bearing hole fit tightness

The fit tightness is guaranteed by the free spring of the bearing and the height of the surface.

Under the method of measuring the height of the surface: assemble the bearing as required, tighten the bolts of the cross bearing cover to the specified torque, loosen one of the bolts, and measure the clearance of the joint of the bearing cover with a feeler, the value should be within the range of 0.05~ 0.15mm.
