Geared(Spline) Shaft Milling
A particular type of mechanical transmission is the Spline Shaft. It serves the same purpose as the wedge key, semicircular key, and flat key. Each one of them produces mechanical torque. 3. Application examples: in the steering and braking systems. There is also a retractable shaft that consists of inner and outer tubes that are sleeved together and have inner and outer teeth on each tube. It may be stretched and compressed while transferring rotating torque.
4. Material: 40Cr.
5. Heat treatment. Quenching surface hardness HRC45--50.
