The rotary kiln drum is first fed into the roll body, then the longitudinal seam is welded and inspected for defects; the circumferential seam is welded in sections, and the coaxiality of the drum body is corrected; the rolling ring and support roller assembly positions are machined, and the mating surfaces of the rolling ring are machined; the lifting plates and flanges are welded onto the drum body; the whole body is heat-treated to eliminate welding stress; the roundness and straightness are corrected, the welds are ground, and anti-corrosion treatment is performed.

Non-destructive testing (NDT) is performed on the cylinder welds;
The roundness, straightness, and coaxiality of the cylinder are checked;
the dimensions and geometric tolerances of the rolling ring mating surfaces are inspected;
