Support Rollers For Rotary Kiln are the core load-bearing support components of rotary kilns, primarily used in cement, lime, metallurgical calcination, and kaolin roasting rotary kilns. They operate under continuous high-temperature, heavy-load conditions. The kiln's own weight, the total load of materials and refractory lining are all evenly distributed among multiple sets of idler rollers, with each set bearing tens to hundreds of tons of static pressure. The calcination of materials inside the kiln generates a large amount of radiant heat, with the kiln shell surface temperature consistently reaching 200-350℃. This heat is continuously conducted to the idler rollers, accompanied by erosion from dust, kiln lining debris, and other contaminants.
Production runs 24 hours a day without interruption, with continuous low-speed rolling friction between the idler rollers and the tire, and slight axial movement of the kiln shell, creating a complex wear condition. Fluctuations in raw material levels and the formation of rings inside the kiln can cause a sudden increase in load. Rain, snow, and humid environments can also lead to bearing corrosion. Long downtime maintenance cycles necessitate that the idler rollers possess high wear resistance, high-temperature resistance, and impact resistance to stably support the concentricity of the kiln shell and ensure continuous operation of the calcination production line.

After rough turning to remove excess material, they undergo quenching and tempering heat treatment to improve overall mechanical properties. The journal mating section is machined, and the roller body and shaft are then press-fitted using a hot-fitting process to ensure connection strength. After assembly, the shape is precision turned to correct the external shape, and finally, the roller surface and journal are ground, with strict control over dimensions, roundness, and surface roughness to meet the requirements for stable operation under heavy loads in the kiln.
